Benefits of Cooking Modules
Best Selection at Arizona Wholesale
Jenn-Air, Wolf, and Gaggenau
Cooking modules are individual drop-in countertop units that may be installed and used as single purpose units, or combined with other modules to provide a more complete meal preparation solution. The big advantage is that modules can be installed anywhere that gas or electric service can be provided, and the mix and match approach gives homeowners the option of having their own custom configuration. For example, a power gas module with wok ring could be installed adjacent to an oversized chrome-infused electric griddle, which might be next to a two burner gas module. Here's an example from Jenn-Air below:
If you want to add indoor grilling, the configuration below from Wolf offers a wok module, next to a grill module, next to a 4 burner Wolf gas cooktop.
Finally, luxury European brand Gaggenau offers an in-counter steamer as part its collection of modular cooking elements.

Both Jenn-Air and Gaggenau also have flush downdraft vent options to remove steam and smoke at the source. Wolf has a retractable rear downdraft vent which may work depending on the width of your modules. Of course, overhead venting may be used with all brands.
